It does remind me of the Tic, even though I recall seeing EWJ first. Crazy and silly fun, no educational or redeeming value.
Which reminds me that deregulating cartoons sure was a boon for shamelessly advertising to kids. Even early GI Joe had to bookend their shows with a short ‘lesson’. (And all I can remember learning from GI Joe is how to swim, light things on fire, and have nightmares.)
