Planetfall was the Infocom game I had played the most until I played through Wishbringer (which I finished just yesterday). I never got back to it because I was afraid of soft-locking. After I finished Wishbringer, someone actually suggested tackling Planetfall next. I think I’ve read it’s one of the more approachable Infocom games.
