Reply To: Out beyond the new frontier
I bounced off this one pretty hard, didn’t I – after discovering the ability to fly through hyperspace and explore the wonders of the galaxy, it turned out it was a bit… boring? No doubt the scale of it was impressive at the time (and remains impressive now!), but I was looking for some more objectives that never really came. I think I would have done better with it if there had been more constraints on me from the beginning and a promise of discovering more and more beyond the starting area – as it was, the various locales look nice enough as you click yourself between them but from a gameplay perspective they’re pretty much the same.
