Lol, I live in America, so of course I assumed football meant the American kind. Couple of suggestions in that genre would be the original John Madden Football, Front Page Sports, NFL Challenge (used to play this one on my uncle’s old Tandy) and Unnecessary Roughness. There’s also 4th & Inches which is sold on Gog/Steam.
