That’s interesting. I’ve only ever played HH, and it seems kind of pointless locking episode 4. It really is just more of the same with a different tileset (and 1 or 2 new monsters?).
The only thing they’re really holding back is the reveal of who the final boss is. Which, by the way, is something that needs to be talked about!
