I hear you on how opinions evolve. Seems to apply to a lot of things I enjoyed as a kid, although possibly the biggest factor is how much more impatient I am as an adult. Gaming takes time! And I’ve got less of it now… What were some of your old faves that have held up?
I usually pick these up on GOG — nice and easy, and I hope it encourages them to keep making older games available more widely. I’ve picked up a few boxes on eBay, mostly because I have a fondness for physical manuals when they’ve got a lot of interesting reading material.
