I’ve jumped in and started playing recently. It’s been a long time since I first played, don’t think I got very far. Definitely making better progress now!
I got the GoG package, and I’m mainly playing the basic 1994 version via Magic DOSBox on my phone (as usual).
My Bluetooth controller works with this setup, which is good as the MD virtual joystick is very sensitive.
A lot of buttons to map though!
I’m assuming the other 1995/1998 releases aren’t technically DOS compatible? Think I tried with X-Wing ages ago with no luck. I’m trying the 98 on the laptop (with Cyborg 3D stick) and it’s very nice to look at…
What versions are you guys running for this DGC playthrough? Purist DOS, or Windows for the fancy graphics?
