In DOS you need to provide little drivers for most hardware items as they are not inbuilt (cdrom/mouse/sound)
Often the generic CD-ROM driver ‘oakcdrom’ does the job.
What type of system are you attempting this on?
Is this your daily gaming computer you are trying to dual-boot DOS? Or a virtual machine?
