Yeah totally, this game is a must for DOS-Gamers, you have my vote sir! 🙂
I remember liking & being frustated at the same time by X-Wing back in the day.
When I first played Tie Fighter (nearly) everything frustrating from X-Wing was removed and pure joy+fun was left on the table.
Definitely one of the best DOS-Games.
