Ah, Monster Bash. It’s a little difficult to play, IIRC, but true to the Apogee classics – has secrets, easter eggs, etc.
Like most games I played as a kid – I goofed around with it, but never sat down for a full playthrough. I will happily try it seriously if it gets selected.
This just reminded me of another spooky game – the famous Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion (a.k.a. Dave 2). It’s much shorter than Monster Bash, but can be no less difficult/frustrating. 😀 And there are the two sequels that share a similar (though not identical) vibe – the OKish “Dave’s Risky Rescue” and the subpar “Dave Goes Nutz”. Still, “The Haunted Mansion” is the best, IMO.
