Reply To: Who uses real hardware?
I use emulation for the most part, because there’s no single PC like there was C64 etc. It means I’d have to choose which spec to go for carefully. Maybe a late Pentium or Pentium II would be a good choice for a good all rounder?
I’ve just remembered I have an Epson QX-11 complete with green mono monitor, all in their original boxes. With its 8086 CPU, I don’t think it will play many games apart from text adventures. Truth me told I have never turned it on as when I turned on an old Commodore PC someone gave me, it released magic smoke.
