Hey everyone, this is my first forum-post, hoping I don’t come accross as too annoying. 😉
Just a couple of years ago (roundabout 2021) I “treated” myself with a 3do / Panasonic FZ-10 from Japan.
Just gonna say: this was a weird rabbithole to get into. 🙂
Of course one of the first things I had to checkout was the Doom-Port and it was a wild ride…
First of all, the initial presentation is great, especially the music.
Just when you start the first Level, is where it starts to crumble.
How about a big screen-frame to keep a “good” framerate on the hardware?
The controls are also the worst, I’m not too sure if you can get a better exprerience with 3rd-Party Controllers.
For a kid playing Doom in the original Port on a 486 back in the day, I’m not so sure this Port would have done anything for me back then.
I attached some screenshots from my OBS-Records, if you want to see more I can provide more footage.
I’m exited to hear about many other wild Port-experiences of you all.
Best regards from Germany
