7th Guest Cake

since it’s halloween it is time for cake. this year i decided to make one in the design of the cake puzzle in the 7th guest.
unfortunately the gravestones melted overnight and proved too difficult to fix. they are made with a mixture of marzipan and licorice, and i’m guessing the latter is just too moisure absorbing to remain stable.
i’m quite proud of the skulls however, which have kept their shape perfectly, but they’re just plain marzipan.
the cake is chocolate raisin with raspberry filling, and is very nice. 🙂
