Alternative 1982 golf text game

In an attempt to find the 1982 golf text game listed on Mobygames (https://www.mobygames.com/game/69919/golf/) I found a different one that’s probably better?

It’s called GOLF.BAS and I have no idea who made this, as the game simply says “PC Golf” when launched and nothing more. The source code also seems encrypted, so I can’t read it.

According to the timestamp, it’s also from 1982. But instead of the one listed on Mobygames, this one has rudimentary text-mode graphics, so imho it’s a bit better haha

If you want to play this, simply download the zip file from archive.org linked above, unzip it and open the directory content in DOS. Then you can run “gw golf.bas” to run the game.

Ooooh, I’ve just been made aware this is the same game as Pix’s “PC Golf” (1985): https://www.dosgameclub.com/forums/topic/pixs-golfing-grand-tour/#post-10335

My file is from 1982 though, according to the timestamp? Weird!
