Bargain bin companies

What are some companies that were mostly known for cheap/junky DOS software? A few that come to mind are Capstone (movie tie-ins), Hitech (cartoons), Gametek (game shows), Cosmi (misc garbage). On the shareware side, there’s Tommy’s Toys, which has an ASCII version of everything under the sun.
I’m thinking it would be amusing to check out some of their titles and see how bad they are. Might even find some gems here and there.
They don’t make shovelware like they used to…
Back in the day when even when you wanted to churn out something cheap and trashy for a quick buck you still had to put in a fair amount of time, effort, skill and even a bit of passion.
Can’t say I can name any companies, but I have to admit this kind of stuff is a guilty pleasure of mine.
