    Have you ever asked yourself, “What if the real-time strategy part of Sim Ant had gotten worked out to be a good game and not a simulation?” then Battle Bugs is the answer. I have only seen it in magazines back in the day and never played it but it looks quite interesting:

    I played he shareware of this game. I remember it being pretty fun once I figured out the UI, and also maybe a little easy. Perhaps that’s just what was available on the shareware. I also remember the game being pretty slow. You didn’t need a high APM.
