I just came across https://github.com/schellingb/dosbox-pure-unleashed and it looked pretty cool, trying to make a very streamlined way of playing DOS games. The experimental windows 9x support, and 4k voodoo game support also looks good. This video sells it better than I can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4q8OMp15KA

Has anybody played around with this?

Also interested, but sadly looks like it doesn’t (yet?) have rewind. Perhaps its rewind capability leaned heavily on RetroArch.

I like the handy F-key shortcuts they put for the extra key functions. I should give it a try!

Ever since I’ve learned of DOSBOX, I’ve been sticking to the ‘vanilla’ builds (official releases or SVN), since I felt they were the most stable, and truest to playing DOS games ‘like in the past’. However, I cannot deny that all the nifty features (save states, slow-mo, quick toggle between window and full-screen) are quite useful when doing research or testing, even beyond ‘cheating’. 😀
