    Hi there.

I am Benedikt. I grew up with DOS games and played way too many of them back in the day. My very first game was either Prince of Persia or SokoBan. I can’t really say for sure. What I can say for sure is that it was on a green/black monochrome monitor. Also known as the worst way to play anything.
I very quickly became familiar with the Lucas Adventures. Starting with Indy 3 but I played everything that came after. In Germany we had a magazine called Bestseller Games in the mid 90s that had lots of these classics on them for pretty cheap so I was able to play them all in the end.
Another great source for games was the Gold Games series of Collections. There was a whole bunch of awesome games on the first two. Alone in the Dark 2+3, Realms of Arkania 1-3, Broken Sword, Orion Burger, Toonstruck. Just to name a few.

Today I am pretty active in the DOS preservation community. I have an unhealthy fascination with manuals and all the other extra materials that used to be in game boxes.

In my normal life I am a musician and have two kids that are more interested in Minecraft then MS-DOS but what can you do πŸ™‚

I am glad to be here and hope to talk to a bunch of like minded people on here.
Thanks for the Podcast and community.

    Nice! Welcome!

Hopefully you’ll find a manual or extra materials/feelies for the games we play to help our podcasting team out πŸ™‚
