I’ve found 3 Ascendancy reviews for this month and they all love it. Can’t say I have any history at all with this game myself. I was expecting more of a lukewarm/mixed reception for some reason – looking forward to trying it out.

Even with the lacking AI it’s stil an amazing game to play.

There is the plug in called the “antagoniser”, that you can use to make the AI a little harder, but it really doesn’t change it much. I think it just makes it more likely that aliens want to attack you.
