Attached the key mappings that I used. Pretty close to modern FPS.

Make sure to invert the mouse control as well. Annoyingly once you get to the driving sequence, it seems to ignore the invert setting.

24,000 cycles in DosBox-X seemed to work well. I didn’t get as far as gameplay, but when it was fast, the cut-scene with the dying soldier at the start was broken.

I forgot to mention, I had troubles hearing music during gameplay. I set sound to 1, and music to max, and then cranked my pc audio. Not sure if there’s a better way – I chose Soundblaster for midi music in the setup utility.

DOSBox Staging also works reasonably well.

Cycles auto seems to cause physics glitches. Like you cannot jump into the warehouse loading area. Others mention cycles 30K or so. I’ve just run into this myself.

EDIT: To update, 30K cycles fixes the jump into the warehouse. But I’ve noticed visual glitches, sequence bugs, and other quirks that may be due to DOSBox-X / Staging. This is a tricky game to play in emulation.
