    I have a fascination with the old Simtel archives, which stems from my college days. I would often bring a disk with me, browse the various FTP sites on the campus machines and then bring home a bunch of random DOS junk to explore. So I thought I’d open a thread for anyone to read or post about various finds.

    Here’s something that predicts fishing conditions by location and date. Gives you a nice graph and everything. One per state, except for Alaska (which is weird since it’s such a huge fishing state):

    I don’t have any experience with simtel specifically, but I too love obscure little bits of software dug up from random pokey places.
    I found an interesting Laplink clone, called Direc-Link, on a 486 I got from Facebook Marketplace. So far I have not found any mention of it anywhere online.
