Interesting that there wasn’t much action on the club here when it was the GotM. Wonder if the low frame rates scared everyone away?
I remember going to a Walden-Software (remember those)? and seeing an open box copy on the shelf, so I opened it and checked out some of the materials. One was a slip of paper with a list of CPU’s and expected frame rates. As the interview indicates, you wouldn’t be getting much past 15 fps, even on a high end 486. It really was the Crysis of its day.
