    Finnish Pelit-magazine gave it a 60:

    Mediocre with jerky graphics on a 486, playable on a Pentium, but the framerate is still anemic, and the backgrounds with flushed palette’s weren’t to the reviewers taste.
    ‘Wipeout’s PC conversion is a testament to bad PC-coders. With more processing power the bit-smiths have gotten lazy. The appeal of the original seems to have been the fast moving smooth graphics…’
