    For anyone using original disks or ISOs who runs into “Divide error” during install. I had to use DOSBox Staging to get the game installed and setup. Then DOSBox-X worked using the same installed folder.

    I prefer DOSBox-X for its nice GUI remapper, controls, accuracy, and save states. Sadly the save states seem kind of incomplete and don’t work well for ROTH. Still, the other features are a nice upgrade from vanilla.

    Thankfully the game supports quick save with F9 and quick load via F10.

    There’s also an autohotkey script for mouse look. Not sure how well it works though.
