I watched a few episodes of this back in the day. I loved the humour, although it kind of blends together with The Tick in my memory.
I will definitely try to get around to watching some of these again this month!
This is a very nice cartoon. Clearly aiming for a slightly more mature and sophisticated audience, compared to, say, the short-lived “Rayman the Animated Series”.
It does remind me of the Tic, even though I recall seeing EWJ first. Crazy and silly fun, no educational or redeeming value.
Which reminds me that deregulating cartoons sure was a boon for shamelessly advertising to kids. Even early GI Joe had to bookend their shows with a short ‘lesson’. (And all I can remember learning from GI Joe is how to swim, light things on fire, and have nightmares.)
