This notable DOS adventure game came up very early as one of the suggestions for games to play, but we never got around to it.
Not one of the most widely known games of its genre, it is still a classic, combining traditional point-n-click adventure and puzzles with elements of horror, based on the short story of the same name. The author, Harlan Ellison, played a major role in this game – adapting the story, writing, even voice acting.
With five widely different characters to play, multiple ways to finish some of the chapters, and various optional segments in the finale, leading to different endings – this game has enough depth for several good hours of gameplay.
