Megafortress

So I’m listening to the B-17 episode (I mostly lurk around here) and I’ve been surprised there’s no mention of Megafortress. It’s about to hit Steam as I write this:

It’s a very unique game, a modern bomber sim with heavy stealth elements, based on the book “Flight of the Old Dog” by Dale Brown.
It’s a fascinating and brutally difficult game that could be fun to talk about.

I never played Megafortress, but I’ve had a look at it online before. It makes me think of F-19/F-117 with its focus on being stealthy.
Looks like it has a lot of details and controls to get your teeth into – I’ll have to check it out.

Thank you for the heads up that it’s now available on gog and steam! I’m gonna put it on my holiday wishlist:)
I’ve got a boxed copy and having a go at it on period hardware left me with a desire to explore it further 🙂
