With both of these versions out, I figured it wouldn’t be bad to weight the pro’s and con’s of either version. Weigh in folks!
In my opinion, the original is the way to go. Sure, there is no warp to room from the map, but the mouse control feels SO MUCH MORE intuitive. After playing the 25th Anniversary edition for a couple of hours, I felt I had so many misclicks due to the weird implementation of the mouse.This may be a symptom of it being converted from the mobile version.
Also, this is a childhood game that took (along with it’s sequel) far to many of my summer vacation hours away. The new feel just doesn’t click with me.
