It was a delight to watch “The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police” during the month. Wish I had discovered it back in the 90s.
Interesting how they took the edge off the franchise to make it TV-G, yet still kept the spirit of the characters. I also appreciate them including a human girl as a main character, and an inventor at that. Funny to see how even Fox could be progressive—at least for that era.
While I much prefer the Sam and Max voice performances in “Hit the Road”, the TV series has with talented actors and suitably dead-pan delivery. It’s clear the show had serious effort put into it at all stages. Shame they didn’t make more than just one season.
