Bile demons are not as good as I remember! Good blockers though.
Dragons are medicore fighters but pretty damn powerful when possessed since you can breathe fire nonstop.
Orcs are bloody amazing, not the strongest creature but cheap and reliable, can make traps in a pinch and they get the speed spell. Still unclear to me why they made them pink but get enough of these guys and your enemies will be buried in a pink landslide.
Dark Mistresses likewise, speed, lightning and drain spells. More costly but can research spells adequatly.
