TellTale Sequels
-
I was testing out the OLD versions of the sequels, and unfortunately they aren’t compatible with modern systems easily, so had to use dxwnd to get them to behave.
I would probably recommend the remakes of the sequels just looking at how they’ve improved on the visual look based on feedback:

They still have the same charm as the original (in my opinion).
I played the first two or three episodes of the sequels and found them okayish. The visual style is quite different (but still fine in accordance with the time the game was released) and some of the mazes are harder to get into. But in summary not a bad game, I need to give it another try.

I really enjoyed the sequels and thought they get better with each season. They did a fine job with those remasters too
I have a DVD copy of the first season waiting, at least. Maybe I’ll get inspired and play them after this game, I got a huge inspiration to play adventure games in November-December after Toonstruck!
Yeah, now I wonder what would be the best way I have at hand to play or at least install the game from the original DVD disc! Simply starting at it on the shelf isn’t working so far. (Kinda don’t want to buy it as digital, would definitely be the easiest option nowadays, but _I already have it_ …)
I’ve heard a bit mixed opinions on the Telltale games and am very curious to check them out for myself!

I just beat Hit the Road. It’s a smaller game than I remember!
Since it’s so early in the month, I think I’ll try one of the later games. Any recommendations? If you’re going to do one, which one would it be?
I played through the first Telltale episode just yesterday, and am planning to play through the first two seasons. It wasn’t quite as awesome as I remembered, but still pretty good! I originally liked the Telltale games better than Hit the Road. I have the first three episodes on CD, and was able to install it on a Windows 7 laptop.
If it’s only one do the third season. That is definitely the most sophisticated one of the lot.
I second the remark on the third season, I’ve played through all three, and I enjoyed season three the most. (Edit all done!)
