Thank you, Pix! Always love seeing these! While reading the first review I noticed the joystick option and am curious if anyone used this, either now or in the past?
Loving the atmosphere so far, and despite it not being super challenging so far I love the little bit of fear when hearing an enemy that has spotted you but you haven’t located them yet. i also love seeing the giant robots up on the hill in the first mission which gave me a sense of being small and helpless for half a moment before blowing them away. Mouse is super sensitive which makes running and gunning next to impossible, but slowing down and taking your time makes it less frustrating. Didn’t read the manual, and just figuring it out like everyone did with the shareware version of games. This one is easy to pick up and get going with zero help, which is perfect for this type of game.
Only fps Terminator game I remember is Rampage, that I played a little of at a friends house when I was 7 or 8. I’m excited to try all of the Dos fps Terminator games as I’ve always loved the movies ever since my father let me watch at far too young an age without my mom finding out!
I was sifting through suggested games hopping this was already brought up. A game that I played to death as a kid and then couldn’t remember the name for 20 years before stumbling on it again. Such a cool atmosphere that became a core memory for me.
Guess this is the “I hastily picked my user name but it’s not what I want everyone to call me” chat. I also am suffering from username remorse and would like to change my display name. Could someone change my display name to Kernel.Cache, please?
So far I’ve only played The castle of Zandia and I’m impressed by how easily you figure things out without knowing a whole lot. I was a little young when ZZT was being passed around, but I think I’ll be popping in to play a game now and then for a long while.
Thank you, watchful for providing a rip! This seems to be one of the games that is harder to find a full version of. I am looking forward to this game, and even though I wish I would have found and joined back at Albion, I am thrilled to be apart of this club!
