I did play Civ1 a bit, together with Colonization. But the main one I’ve played over and over and still return to from time to time is Civ3.
Unfortunately that’s a Windows game, you know, that new OS.
So, Civ1 it is.
Yeah, that is one of the issues with this game.
Also, at a certain point, you’ve build everything, mined everything and need to keep expanding to win the game. But then you get to a point you’re just repeating everything you’ve done before. Gameplay is rather repetitive.
Still fun, but those are two of it’s issues.
Thanks!
Yes definitely. And then later discovering how certain mechanics work and be hook to it again for a time.
It’s a fun game.
Hello there.
My parents were actually the other way around, no console what so ever. I missed out on some of those console gems.
But it’s nice to read you’re discovering these old fantastic and sometimes not so fantastic games.
Nice to meet you, have fun.
Somehow the nostalgia just sucks you in. Then you discover that some games you thought were great are not that great and some games you thought were awesome are actually still awesome.
What’s your prefered way of playing these old games?
Cool!!!
I just commented on Settlers II how I was really looking forward to that game, then I saw this one!
I specifically bought a secondhand joystick to replay this game a while ago. I guess it’ll soon be time to hook it up. Looking forward to this.
