Powermonger is a forgotten wonder from Peter Molyneux. You begin with a small but loyal army. You are a captain of men, who craves power. You exist in a world of many towns and townsfolk and sheep, all waiting to bend to your will. The lands have changing seasons which affect your progress. The people have names, lives, and jobs. The world is alive. Rally your troops, create pikes, bows, or a catapult and……conquer them all! Please do a show on Powermonger. It is a dream of mine to have this amazing game reviewed.

I played a few hours of this game many years back. On the surface it looks a lot like populous, but I quickly found how different it was!
I didn’t have any instructions and had to figure it out by trial and error, which for strategy games of the era is not the easiest task!

The thing I always remember is coming to the world map screen and being totally blown away by how many levels there are.
