This game was always on my to do list list since I saw screenshots in the early 90 pc magazines ( I believe it was in generation 4) A good opportunity to see what it has in its guts ^^

According to GOG they sell the version in french , german and english (unlike the other games of the Tex Murphy series that are only english).

    https://www.gog.com/fr/game/tex_murphy_the_pandora_directive

It seems the French & German version have or had some bug compared to the english, to be tested ? Also possible to bypass the bug in the english version if it appears in your french / german save ? Also it seems the french patch from Hiei of 2015 has disappeared from the net around 2022 so gog is the only way to go.
Steam only french possibility was through the patch from Hiei , but no more available https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=490539421

My favorite DOS game. Amazing lore and music, the game is a mix of different genre : adventure game , strategy and management . Dune is one of my favorite story, and behind the scene of this game creation there was a lot to say because the creator developped the game without the authorization of any editor and enforce the game launch by being stuborn … In parallele of Dune 2 , which was launch almost at the same time … will see for the 10 year of the podcast , it would be a great episode

Gobliiiiins 1+2+3 are a great memories ! I like the design of the coktel vision games, they have the round design of amiga graphism translated on PC ( i believe they were created for the amiga originaly) ! Hardcore puzzle game with the outfit of point ‘n click . I like the humour and the sound design. One of the most reminescent memories of DOS games. Big up to Pierre Gilhodes to continue the series in Goblins 4+5+6 and achieving the Goblins 1-5 collection physical version including a floppy disk with the PS5 version.

Thanks ! Unfortunately I only have the 2 pentium i guess and most of the time I use DOSBOX , but who knows where the nostalgia will lead me … as A suggestion My two dream games to see covered by DOSGAMECLUB are Al Lowe’s Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist and Cryo’s Dune! Maybe one of them in 2027! ? I will copy my wish in the suggestion forum !
